“There’s always room for Jelo”, or as I would like to say “Things are always better with Jelo.”

Indeed they were. And life IS better because of knowing Jeff Elo. It was never a dull moment when he was around. One day in LA, I looked at him, smiled and told him what an amazing, generous, gentle, kind and incredible man and husband he had become since I had met him (since 1999). It was an honor and inspiration to watch a friend grow into such an extraordinary human being. He was like a big brother to me, always smiling, making funny jokes, giving good advice and always looking out for everyone around him. I shared his passion for travel, diving, creating community, music, dancing, food, technology and adventure, all of which we talked about endlessly when we hung out, unless of course he was ripping it up on the decks to a full dance floor in his living room (never mind that it was never a large living room, but whenever Jelo played, people were shakin it). I admired the incredibly loving and adventurous life he made with Tiffany, whom he absolutely adored. He celebrated life often and I’m so glad I got to share so many of those celebrations with him.

LIVE LOVE LAUGH has deeper meaning in my life because you were in it, Jeff. I miss you so very much. Words cannot describe the void I feel knowing that you are not on this earth anymore, but I find solace in knowing I will feel your spirit and our kinship always.
